ISPAS Oil Spill Detection (OSD)
The ISPAS Oil Spill Detection radar leverages cutting-edge FMCW polarimetric Ku-band technology to detect oil on the sea surface—even in calm conditions (seastate 0). Its electronically scanning antennas cover 100 degrees in under 0.2 seconds, enabling rapid and reliable detection. The system has been operational on the Edvard Grieg platform since October 2017 and on Johan Castberg since 2018.
ISPAS Radar Cross Section measurements (RCS)
ISPAS offers deep expertise in radiofrequency (RF) systems, including radar-based RCS measurements. We provide custom-designed RF equipment and full support for both indoor and outdoor RCS testing, tailored to meet complex measurement needs.
NTE - Nordic Training Emitter
The NTE X-band RF Emitter is a custom-built signal generator designed to simulate real radar systems. It transmits high-power radar signals for training and testing purposes, offering a realistic radar environment for operational readiness.
